Real Preserved Black and Teal Butterfly Pendant Necklace on Silver Chain

This necklace was created by me, using a real butterfly. For some reason, the blue in this one caught my eye. It almost doesn't even look real. However, the colors may seem surreal but they are as real as real gets. 

After carefully preserving the butterfly, I placed it atop a silicone mat and got to work, painting coats of resin on one at a time. I would sand and then polish the layers between coats, until I finally felt as though the necklace was sturdy enough and was shaped correctly to do the beautiful creature justice. It is placed on a silver chain.
